To all you “Youtubers”…

… I'd like to adress some things here for you.

First of all, quality over quantity

Most of the community ( as you can see in various posts ) is tired of your stuff. All we see here is "PvP Montage#84" "Decayed Base Raid" "H1Z1 Fragmovie #17"

Those are Clips. Montages, maybe. Not Fragmovies. If you want to know what a fragmovie looks like, look up Clockwork, or Jailbait, hell, even Rechyyy's old stuff Incorporated 2 for example. Take your time editing

Length

I'm still glad to check out a good video once in a time. I do not want to watch a 7-10 minute video tho, of your gamma being turned up and you hitting mediocre shots that everybody does on a hourly basis. Narrow it down to 2-3, put a fitting song, maybe.

Naming, Colors & Gamma, Track

As stated before, the titles are just atrocious. Give your video its own personality, decide for a theme, hell, name the video after the tracktitle, why the f* not?

If you're having your gamma turned up, I for example, will certainly not watch because I know you'd propably hit nothing in a tactical shootout / ambush during nighttime. But that's just my personal opinion.

Color correction gives the whole video a new feed. You guys propably sit hours there to put some clips together, if you're taking that long, might aswell put some CC on it. 80+% of you bitched about the new colors being bad, so give it your own vibe, and if you have that gamma turned up already, play with the levels and contrast so you don't seem like "just another" to us.

Track

I don't know how Rap / Hip Hop made it this popular to H1 Videos, sometimes it fits ( if you'd actually sync it ) but not even the shots or the cuts are synced to any beat. Also, it gets boring as fuck to hear the same track over and over again. I bet most of you don't even listen to that kind of music and just pick it because its "popular".

Here's some inspiration to choose from for your next videos:

https://youtu.be/daKaqfdE9wA?t=47s Mothica – Out of It – Lowself Remix

https://youtu.be/3vxpP5nArk8?t=36s Nimo – Flouz kommt Flouz geht (Instrumental)

https://youtu.be/eqsXMVobPZM?t=1m6s Stephen – Crossfire ( Summitscape Remix )

  Just some thoughts

Youtuber, that word. Please, do not call yourself a Youtuber. It's just pure cringe. You do make videos for fun, occassionally. That's it. Back in the day in 2012-2014 I was running a 23.000 sub channel as I was doing design & matte paintings mostly, and I didn't consider myself a Youtuber. Since I just uploaded for fun, the subs happened. Your 15-80 Subs are nothing to be proud of.

Summary / TLDR

1) Take your time editing, quality over quantity. Nobody wants to see your 107' montages of every single shot you ever landed, put together without any thought.

2) Name your videos, give it your personality & charme, choose a theme, give it a fitting title.

3) Vary the soundtracks, as the only genre being posted right now is "rap / hip hop"

4) Don't jack off to loot, don't make it the main theme of your video. Most people would like to see how you got there, not just PvP in their base and then boom, suddenly loot room.

Just some thoughts.

Cheers.

Also, Render Settings. If you record, for H1Z1 you have to get at least 50 MBp/s because of how the game looks on stream / video anyway and the movement. Your Render Settings, if your machine can live up to it, should be 1920 x 1080, 60fps, don't let source media adjust the framerate, keep the main profile, make a average mb/ps of 50.000.000, aswell as the max allowed one. For those who use Sony Vegas. Which all of you do, I guess. Won't go into Premiere Render Settings here. And stop recording with Shadowplay / Relive, but get OBS, make a shortcut for recording / stop recording.
