Everyone is hating on this game. I get it, I'm in the minority. My biggest concern was the gameplay mechanics, which yes, are clunky. I played the beta on PC and on PS4, a total of about 20 hours so far.
I'm not a fan of arcade-like features (HUD, command wheel, etc) and hoped for a more "adult" hardcore TP tactical shooter. My most favorite game of all time is SOCOM II on PS2. I was hoping this game would fill that void even without PVP confirmed. I also have about 1500 hours played in The Division fwiw.
To me, this game somewhat feels like Just Cause 3 had a baby with Far Cry and SOCOM imo.
But if you can look past a few things, the word they created is quite impressive, and I, for one, after exploring the map outside of the beta for a few hours now, playing some level 3 and level 5 areas, and extremely excited for the full game.
Again, I know I am in the minority, and I know a lot of you are disappointed. But take a chill pill, because there's not a lot you can do about it. Instead of hating on the game, head over to the forums and offer some constructive feedback for a change…
