Don't get me wrong, I like it when people DO play Honorably. Hell there's entire contract orders based on doing so.
But if I'm in Elimination, or Brawl, or really anything except Duel and I get jumped by a second person, I don't jump into chat and start capslock-warrioring at them for 'having no honor'.
The game is FULL of ways to counter being teamed up on; environment hazards, dodging, breaking, feats, powerups in some modes, etc. etc. etc.
Those same features work 1v1 too; if you get between me and a ledge then you better be prepared for a flying lesson 'cos you're going off that ledge like a bungee-jumping enthusiast who couldn't wait for the cord. I won't go out of my way to do it, but if you give me an opening, I'm taking it.
If you aren't paying attention to your surroundings and shuffle towards a spike wall, well, guess what, you're getting an extreme acupuncture session.
Likewise, if I make those same mistakes and you punish me for them, well fucking played to you. Well done for using the features of the game put in to add more to it than just "two people alternating between R1 and R2 at each other."
If you want to play honorably, all I ask is to please, please, PLEASE say so at the start of the match. Use the Team Chat function for what it's designed for. A quick "Honor y/n?" would do. Then if most people or even half of them say "n" you know you can play dirty too and we can all stop bitching each other out for 'having no honor'.
