Nier Automata may use Denuvo + 1080p60FPS cap

Link isn't working at the moment, but i saw it posted on r/pcgaming and the Steam community is now bitching about Denuvo.

Also an interview with Platinum says they intend the PC version to be a locked 1080p60FPS to "ensure the same level of quality across platforms"

I dunno about that myself. I'm sure it can be fixed by someone like Durante, but I really want that quote to just be like something old and outdated.

Link is working again and confirmed.

12.6 The PC version of the Product Software uses Sony DADC Austria AG’s Denuvo (“Denuvo”) content protection technology. Disappointing, but it's SE, so oh well.

As for the 1080p60FPS cap, it's older, but:

Overall, I am conflicted. On one hand, I don't want to support resolution and frame rate caps, as well as the anti-consumer software Denuvo.

On the other hand…Yoko Taro…I don't think I'll cancer my pre-order, but that's only because of Yoko Taro. Square Enix / Platinum is treating the consumers like shit by doing this.
