“New mob AI” my tushy … back to the drawing board Funcom!

First of all making mobs a bit of a challenge is a good thing, but what's this crappy stunlock/pushback spam you have given to everything and butterflies? And with insane range to top it off ? A few examples I encountered: Hyenas … can bite me while remaining out of range of an iron pike, u-huh. NPC archers … will shoot arrows at you (twang … twang…) but the moment they connect they go into rapidfire mode (twang-twang-twang…) which is 2-3 times as fast and keep just pushpushpushing you back while taking huge hunks of hp out of you. U-huh. Scorpions. They hit you with the left. They hit you with the right. They hit you with the tail. And each one has a stun/pushback on it ? Get real! You just nerfed twohand hammers, and scorpions are pretty much doing that now, pushback spam with 3 "weapons". Ninja turtles … had one jumpkick me down from 15-20 meters. That was pretty cool tho.

Ok I see that "poise" is supposed to take care of this so "wear better armor" is the expected answer but remind me again … what's the point of wearing light armor then ? Shouldn't it make you more dodgy, like … a swing might miss you completely ? At this time there seems to be no point to not go for heavy armor. Also agility doesn't seem to do anything.

So please … better mob AI – yes. But not this cheesy stun/pushback spam. That's not mob AI, that's mob AI programmer finishing a job on a Friday afternoon … ;P
