Primary List of Concepts
Secondary List of Concepts

Pantheon: Greek
Class: Hunter
Subclass: Carry
Type: Ranged, Physical
Pros: Mobility, tricky to fight.
Cons: Easily killed, reliant on mirrors.

LORE

In Greek mythology, Narcissus is a beautiful boy who rejected both the nymph Echo and the boy Aminias, causing them both great strife. He was repaid by the goddess Nemesis by being stuck to his own image and eventually dying.

In Smite he is a hunter based on mobility and self-utility, allowing him to do things no hunter has done before. Narcissus is highly mobile, lacking only in the damage department of his abilities and being somewhat squishy. He is beautiful and poised, wielding a bow made of the vines of his now flowery body. His voice is calm and settling, though he is still very full of himself.

APPEARANCE

CONCEITED RECOLOR

Narcissus was quite simple as he really designed himself. He was a hunter and turned into a flower in one version of his story, so I just put the two together. The mirror and reflections are also self-explanatory.

Passive – Vain Ego

  • Narcissus inherits 3% of all basic attack power, basic attack speed, and crit chance of enemies within 35ft of him. Additionally, he inherits 6% of the stats from buffs or steroids towards those three stats.

Ability I – Mirror Image

Ability Type: Line
Range: 55ft
AoE: 15ft

  • Narcissus shoots a white arrow in a line which does not deal damage to enemies and stops at a target area. Once it hits a surface or reaches the target area it spawns a watery mirror facing Narcissus. This mirror interacts with his other abilities and lasts for 12/14/16/18/20s. Narcissus may have up to two mirrors active at a time, though they cannot be more than 80 feet apart. Narcissus's basic attacks used on the mirror will ricochet off of it, while enemy basic attacks will reflect back at them and deal half of their original damage. Using Fleeting Love to traverse your mirrors will close the mirror you walked through.

Cost: 80
Cooldown: 10s

Ability II – Fleeting Love

Ability Type: Buff
Range: 0ft
AoE: 0ft

  • Narcissus gains 15/20/25/30/35% movement speed and removes the movement speed penalty when basic attacking. While activated he is now able to see through his mirrors to what they are looking at, allowing him to traverse them to come out of the opposing mirror or shoot basic attacks through them. This buff lasts for 4/4.5/5/5.5/6s.

Cost: 70/75/80/85/90
Cooldown: 13s

Ability III – Admiration

Ability Type: Line
Range: 50ft
AoE: 14ft

  • Narcissus creates a watery clone of himself, sending it forward in a line. The clone deals damage and mesmerizes for .8s seconds. If Narcissus his one of his mirrors with this ability it travels back to him, dealing damage and mesmerizing enemies twice.

Damage: 40/60/80/100/120 (+40% of your physical power) twice
Cost: 70/75/80/85/90
Cooldown: 13s

Ultimate – Reflection

Ability Type: Buff
Range: 60ft
AoE: 10ft

  • Narcissus targets one of his mirrors, instantly flying into it unseen and replacing himself where he was with a mirror clone that takes his appearance. The real Narcissus will be inside of that target mirror, unable to take damage or deal damage. The clone Narcissus will now be under the control of the player, able to do everything as if he was normal Narcissus. The clone has 50/60/70/80/90% of Narcissus's original health and will shatter when killed. Otherwise, the clone lasts for 6/6.5/7/7.5/8s and Narcissus will step out of the water mirror when it dies.

Cost: 100
Cooldown: 90s

Please note that all my concepts are a WIP and will be updated constantly. Any constructive criticism, questions, and feedback is appreciated. Enjoy!
