I'm sure most of you are too busy to read this as we're all playing the game but – I was thinking about this a lot after my long play through today.
First off, I will say I HAVE NOT beaten the main story yet so I don't know what happens. Anyway, I don't know about you guys.. But did anyone else feel like you were being pushed more and more by Zelda to hurry to go to Hyrule castle to stop Ganon from growing in power? Each time there was a cut scene or something with Zelda telling me that I needed to hurry I got goosebumps and thought back to Majoras mask.
Imagine this: In the hard mode of the game you have a set amount of days to complete the main story line. Everyday that passes, the corruption and destruction around Hyrule castle grows out further and further until the timer is up, and Ganon claims Hyrule. This would mean that with more zones going corrupt, more enemies would spawn, a chance for more frequent blood moons or maybe every night is a blood moon. And of course enemies hit harder and maybe did new attacks.
What do you guys think? I would love to see this type of a hard mode added – maybe they could add hunger mechanics too.
