Caveat to transferring high light items to new characters. Diminished XP. *Repost with proof

I posted a few days ago and got a lot of people calling me a liar. So I removed it until I had some proof because I don’t want to spread misinformation. But It does seem to hold true for me. I’ll run some more test but I was in a hurry.

My original post was an SGA to those starting new characters and transfering high light weapons like Iron Gally and Frontier Shell that can be equipped right from the beginning of the game. I wanted to warn people that it’ll slow down leveling up your subclass & character level because the xp from killing an enemy changes depending on your light level.

Can someone else please replicate this test to see if you get the same results? I’d like to get to the bottom of this. I loaded up the plaguelands, killed a splicer dreg at 293 light and got 24xp, and killed another splicer dreg at 400 light and only got 8xp. I have images and am linking to the xboxdvr.com clips to prove they aren’t tampered with.
