93.05% of special weapon kills in last week’s Trials were from weapons that dodged the special ammo changes: sidearms, No Land Beyond, Ice Breaker, Universal Remote, and Invective

Stats taken from trials.report, leaderboards.trials.report, and twitter.com/trialsreport.

Last week’s Trials of Osiris on Skyline had:

5,010,973 sidearm kills
+ 1,735,259 No Land Beyond
+ 1,232,423 Ice Breaker
+ 58,311 Universal Remote
+ 17,680 Invective
= 8,054,646 special weapon kills from weapons that didn’t get special economy nerfed

8,937,288 Primary kills (incl. NLB, UR)
+ 6,862,568 Special slot
+ 396,015 Heavy
= 16,195,871 weapon kills

6,862,568 special weapon slot kills
+ 1,735,259 (NLB)
+ 58,311 (UR)
= 8,656,138 special weapon kills

8,656,138 – 8,054,646 = 601,492 special weapon kills from ammo-nerfed specials
601,492 / 8,656,138 = 6.95% of special weapon kills were from ammo-nerfed specials
8,054,646 / 8,656,138 = 93.05% of special weapon kills were from non-ammo-nerfed specials

5,010,973 / 8,656,138 = 57.89% of special weapon kills were sidearm, as you’ll see on trials.report

Some comparisons from the week before that, on Black Shield:

Black Shield: 263,399 accounts participated
Skyline: 229,891 accounts participated

Black Shield: 9,494,553 / 10,463,975 = 90.74% of special weapon kills were from non-ammo-nerfed specials
Skyline: 8,054,646 / 8,656,138 = 93.05% of special weapon kills were from non-ammo-nerfed specials

Black Shield: 9,494,553 / 19,883,517 = 47.75% non-ammo-nerfed special kills percentage of all weapon kills
Skyline: 8,054,646 / 16,195,871 = 49.73% non-ammo-nerfed special kills percentage of all weapon kills

I hope to see some stats from /u/TMFE777 that go into more detail about weapon usage and Trials population. Click here for his post last week.

I think I rushed this one. Check my math 🙂
